Driven by a purpose

Couto-Mixto is a company based in Barcelos that provides consultancy services with the aim of offering strategic advisory, planning and management solutions in various areas of activity, such as agriculture, culture, the environment and oenology.

It was set up in 2019 by three friends coming from scientific disciplines but who have remained connected to the artistic and cultural endeavours they started as teenagers. This breadth of experience led them to apply for a fund to develop a circuit of small concert halls between the north of Portugal and Galicia. The success of this first application resulted in the creation of a digital work platform, which was non-existent in the industry. An initiative that emphasised social concerns - connecting geographies and building bridges - and cultural concerns - opening up channels for sharing music across borders. In addition to the social and cultural issues, the third pillar, environmental sustainability and the agricultural area, finally manifested itself in the company, with the quest to recover vineyards and land. Eventually, TAU! also appeared, a natural wine co-signed by Couto-Mixto, whose flavour and look are reinvented with each edition. This path is characterised by the curiosity that drives the team to find new challenges and appropriate, innovative solutions. Through a highly qualified and transversal approach, Couto-Mixto guarantees its clients a specialised service and a creative approach ruled by excellence in all areas of work, and the confidence that together we can build a better world.

With a multidisciplinary team, Couto-Mixto carries out its work in the artistic-cultural, environmental, agricultural and wine sectors - areas where some of the greatest contemporary socio-economic challenges lie.
